About

Company Background

My name is Hans Henning and I am the principal engineer at Henning Engineering.   I am an electrical engineer that also has a background in mechanical engineering.   Additionally, I am also a skilled machinist.   I combine these skills to provide industry with unique solutions to some challenging engineering problems.

I have always had a passion for designing and building things.   My first summer job, as a high school student, was working at Bell Labs designing and building mechanical components for equipment used in atomic physics experiments.   I started my own personal machine shop when I was 16.   Outside of work you can often find me working on designing something.   I my spare time I design and build my own bicycles, underwater cameras, and dive lights.   All this has had a profound influence on how I work as an engineer.

The following are some key principals I learned that have been helpful to me and that I adhere to on every job that I do:

This is the philosophy of design that I follow and is the engineering advantage that I can offer to you.
